Partaking in the bread and the cup together is a reminder of where our hope is rooted, and prepares us for the marriage supper of the Lamb that is to come in the New Heavens & the New Earth. *The Lord’s Supper is a meal instituted by Jesus for his followers to specifically remember his death on our behalf (see Matt. Pray that the Lord would continue open our eyes for opportunities to declare and display the gospel to others in this season.ĬONFESSION OF SIN, COMMUNION, & ASSURANCE OF PARDON Pray for those who don’t know Christ to be awakened to their need for the gospel due to this crisis. Pray that we would be a community that walks in forgiveness & waits in faith. Pray for those who are sick to be healed & for those who are on the front lines of caring for the sick (especially for the many medical professionals at The King’s Church) Spend a few minutes praying together for the following: What hope from Psalm 130 do you need to cling to closely this week? How can you remind yourself of this truth & hope daily?
